Hwy 59 Motel Laredo Medical Center

Ordered a king room, got a "double double." (Two double beds) That's ok, cuz I was ground floor and was able to park right outside my door. So it worked out. Staff is good. One housekeeper saw me take a drink of Arizona tea in a bottle, said "You're drinking, huh?" I replied, "Yes, I'm drinking tea." She was probably just joking. The owner has become my best friend in the entire state of Texas, and I have Booking.com to thank for meeting him. He and his wife run probably the best, most secure hotel in Laredo Texas. They have cameras everywhere, my vehicle is always safe and secure, I feel safe when I stay there. A little more attention might be paid to cleaning the floors. Otherwise EVERYTHING IS GREAT The towels are very clean. Normally there are ironing boards and irons in each room. But there was no iron in my room. I suppose if I needed one I could have asked for one. It was a "working trip" to Laredo so no iron was necessary. TV worked well. Lots of storage space for clothes in dresser. Table and chair for doing desk work. Bed was not 100% comfortable (90%, which is good) but I did get very good rest. I was tired from my previous days driving. No fridge or microwave in this room but like I said, it was a working trip and I had little time Laredo is HOT. So I am very glad that he has little bottles water and coke and soft drinks available in the office and in machine by rooms, too. In Laredo, ever since staying here at Motel 59, I have not stayed at another hotel since. It is my "Home away from home."

Amazing staff, comfortable beds, and perfect location. Property manager always made sure I was comfortable. Joey in housekeeping helped me during a small medical crisis, really appreciated his assistance. Applaud entire housekeeping staff, working in the heat, but room was always fresh. Grocery store across the street, Mexican restaurant literally connected to property, Walgreens maybe two blocks, public transit across the street, and not far from Laredo Medical Center.
